In my humble opinion, those people who have never seen the works of Pierre Cardin, know nothing about contemporary and future fashion. Being a would-be designer, I have to write many

What strikes me most is his willingness to create out-of-the ordinary things. In fact, this is a rare quality even among the most prominent designers.
Although, I do admit that his devotion to
post-modern style is sometimes too excessive but it seldom prevents him from producing first-class suits. But Pierre Cardin designs not only suits: he is much more versatile than people think.
To better explain what I mean, I would like to speak about some of his most
recent creations. For instance, some of his watch designs appear to me as the brilliant
combination of utility and style. The same goes for his other products such as perambulators . Occasionally, it seems to me that he is able to make beautiful things almost without effort, just for pure entertainment. But of course, this is just a common
misconception as fashion design is a laborious task. Moreover, I know that his
career growth was not as easy as it now seems to be. It is rather difficult to envy Pierre Cardin, because it is impossible to envy a genius.
